Terms of Use

Prismint is a free collector tool for looking up trading cards, seeing current card values, tracking a collection and comparing both sides of a trade. It's run by [Company name] (placeholder, to be confirmed) ("we" and "us").

By using Prismint or creating an account, you agree to these terms. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information. If you don't agree, don't use Prismint.

Card values and market ranges shown on Prismint are estimates built from market information. They are not offers, appraisals, grading opinions, or guarantees, and they can be wrong or out of date. Always use your own judgment before you buy, sell, or trade a card. Prismint is not responsible for decisions you make based on the values it shows.

You need an account to save a collection or trades. Give a real email address, keep your sign-in details to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else used your account. If you are under the age where your country requires a parent or guardian to consent, have them create or approve the account.

Don't misuse Prismint. That includes trying to break or overload the service, getting into someone else's account or data, or copying the site at scale with bots. It also includes using Prismint for anything unlawful.

Don't add anything that isn't yours to share, or that is hateful, harassing or misleading.

We can remove content, or suspend or close accounts, that break these rules.

What you add to Prismint stays yours. That covers notes, storage labels, display names and trade summaries.

You give us permission to store it, show it to you, and show it to anyone you share it with, like people who open a trade link you send. This permission is only for running Prismint, and it ends when you delete the content or your account. Copies in backups take a short time to clear.

Prismint is not affiliated with, sponsored, or endorsed by Nintendo, The Pokémon Company, Game Freak, or Creatures Inc. Pokémon and card images are trademarks of their respective owners. Card images and card facts are shown for identification only.

Some card pages link to other sites, and some of those links earn Prismint a commission. Prismint doesn't sell those items or set their prices, and isn't responsible for purchases you make there.

If you think something on Prismint uses your copyrighted work without permission, send a notice to our copyright agent: [Copyright agent] (placeholder, to be confirmed), [Mailing address for copyright notices] (placeholder, to be confirmed), popsikle+prismint@gmail.com.

Your notice needs your contact details and your signature. It should name the work and show where it appears on Prismint. It also needs a statement that you believe in good faith the use isn't allowed, and that your notice is accurate. U.S. copyright law (17 U.S.C. 512) lists everything a notice needs.

If we remove something you added and you think that was a mistake, you can send us a counter-notice the same way.

We close the accounts of people who repeatedly add content that infringes someone else's copyright.

You can stop using Prismint at any time. To delete your account and the data that goes with it, email popsikle+prismint@gmail.com. Our Privacy Policy explains what happens to your information.

We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts Prismint or other people at risk. Unless the law or safety stops us, we'll tell you why and give you a way to get a copy of your data.

The parts of these terms that by their nature should last, like "Card values are estimates", the limits on our liability and the disputes section, still apply after an account ends.

Prismint is provided as-is, without warranties of any kind. We do our best to keep it accurate and available, but we don't promise it will be.

To the fullest extent the law allows, Prismint isn't liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $50.

Some laws don't allow these limits. Where that's the case, the limits apply only as far as the law allows.

If someone makes a claim against us because you broke these terms or the law, or because of content you added, you agree to cover our reasonable costs from that claim.

If you have a problem with Prismint, email popsikle+prismint@gmail.com first. We'll try to sort it out with you within 30 days.

If we can't, either of us can take the dispute to the courts of [County and state] (placeholder, to be confirmed). Either of us can also use small claims court where it applies.

These terms are governed by the laws of [State] (placeholder, to be confirmed), without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. If you live somewhere whose consumer laws give you more protection, those protections still apply.

We may update these terms as Prismint changes. When we do, we'll update the date at the top of this page.

If a change is important, we'll tell you in Prismint before it takes effect. We may ask you to agree to the new terms the next time you sign in. Using Prismint after a change means you accept the updated terms.
